I think the D-Day scene from Saving Private Ryan would be crazy:shock:
The part in the Matrix where neo dives into the agent. I would be Neo :D
Lawnmower scene in Peter Jackson's (Yes, that Peter Jackson) Braindead. It is the goriest scene ever made.
A room full of zombies, a lawnmower.
There are many i would like to recreate but one is Rocky Balboa vs Apollo Creed in the first Rocky and me being Rocky.
Yeh that would be cool.
I would rather take a movie and bend it to my will. Or just make up my own movie. (Did I just state the same thing???) But I love movies so it wouldn't matter what one I would recreate, I would love it.
A 102,000 feet skydive by Joseph Kittenger; watch the video too see for yourself
http://youtube.com/watch?v=z-9r-DI7HmM
Reservoir Dogs - Cop slashing scene (not that I hate cops, I just think it's funny)
Fast and the Furious, the end part where its just the Supra vs. the Charger.
I actually did recreate a few scenes from Rent.
yooo, Joe Kittenger is the truth man. Ive seen that video many times. gives me goosebumps everytime i watch it.
How hard would something like that be to create in a lucid dream?
I imagine the excitement would be hard to control.
that's the summit of the LD world as far as I'm concerned, though.
I'd like to think I could re-create even whole film, not just a scene, of Donnie Darko. In light of what many have said, it might be logical to shorten the length of the film, but still get the same beggining middle and end.
I doubt "everyone" loved the film, but those who have seen it and liked it should see what I'm getting at. I always find myself reffering to that film and it has such meaning and depth. Infact if you look at the film with Lucid Dreaming in mind, it could even be what the whole film is about!!! Even though what happens in the dream happens in RL at the end, so it sorta warps that assumption.
Anyone else think this would be a good idea for a dream? I just want to feel that meaning of having something to do that I can't understand, it feels like an ajenda.
The scene in Big where Tom Hanks gets to play with all the toys at F.A.O. Schwartz.
Before I begin... I <3 U for liking that movie. So sad and depressing at the end, but very good movie. I think it would be a very good idea for a dream. A gift like that would be astonishing.Quote:

For me it is really difficult to say which movie I'd like to play in. I mean, there's so many... One that came to mind was Fantastic Four being Victor Von Doom and killing the whole four, then unleashing some sort of doomsday weapon on the world. Or do it vice versa so I have the rush of firing the weapon while battling the four. :)
Another would be the War of the Worlds and fleeing away from the carnage. Oh boy would that be exhilirating! Except I'd probably have a thought of one of the beams 'hit me!' slip out and poof- to dust.
The Blob, except in New York. Guess who I'd be. The Blob.
Lord of the Rings: I'd probably be some dark wizard, kill Frodo and take the ring to ressurect Sauron - then dominate Middle Earth as the dark lord's new apprentice.
Willow: Fight the dark sorceress queen for dominance over the rest of the world. Kill Williow, the baby princess, and all other characters. Then attempt to enslave the world before draining it of all life.
Harry Potter! This is an easy one: Be Voldemort in the recent film at the end, fight Dumbledore and WIN, then finally kill Harry Potter, murder the ministry of magic, and go on a rampage across England with the Death Eaters.
I'll think of some more later. :)
lol. It is a brilliant movie, one of the best if not my favourite. I hope I go on to make movies like that. (that is if life's journey takes me that way.)
As I have yet to LD, This paragraph made me think.
Seeing as its best to stay calm in a LD and not get too excited (unless your a 'master LD'er') can you really feel the rush? because I know what you mean, that would be an ULTIMATE dream to experience, but wouldnt it be over in two seconds? ...... unless your a master at it.
Again I haven't LD'd yet. Strike me if I'm wrong.
STRIKE ME DAMNIT!!!!
Why not create your own characters and interact somehow than just being the same old boring characters from the movies?
I had one last night after watching The Covenant. I was Pogue's twin sister/Reed's gf...who could also do magic as if I was the one and only "Daughter of Ipswich." It was basically the entire movie plus my own character. It wasn't an LD, but it was extremely vivid.
The car chase scenes from 'The Blues Brothers'.
Well, I... STRIKE YOU WRONG! I consider it possible for one to experience the exhiliration. :P I once had Warhammer 40k invade Earth on a short lucid dream. I nearly got caught by Chaos. Talk about fun. :)Quote:

If you're an expert on LDing I'm sure you can achieve it. Just slowly get your way there. Afterall, anything is possible.
oh I like this topic!
lets see...the scene from Armageddon when they look at the Earth from the asteroid....the fight from The Matrix Reloaded against all the smiths...A scene from Eragon fighting on top of drgons would be cool...I would love to enter into the Sphere for the movie The Sphere...or how about the kiss scene from cruel intentions :P
but I agree the war of the worlds would be incredible
I know its not a movie, but the Futurama episode where Bender is floating through space. That just seems like the most relaxing thing imaginable, watching the cosmos float by.
Actually, I almost made it to space in a recent LD, but it was too dark so I flew towards the city lights. In retrospect, I should have kept going up.
That looks SO cool in my head!
I know it isn't a film, but how about 'Red Dwarf' ? Any situation involving a lone surviving human, a hologram, a robot and a cat hybrid has to be interesting to say the least!
Also another one that isn't a film (don't kill me!!!) is a new game from valve coming very soon (the 10th) called Portal. I've mentioned it in another thread, but just think, being able to create a doorway between one point and another in the same location. It could even be a fun replacement to the (in dream terms) standard flying.
That last one would probably make more sence if you've seen the game that I'm on about. Infact......yeaahh, why not: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if3Qv2tHyfA
I'd be Wash in the scene from Serenity where he is maneuvering through the big space battle.
Portal would be an awesome dream power to have.
I think portal would be very interesting - combined with some super technological weapons and armor. I'd go around and blow some cities up, both human and alien. :)
A lot of the scenes from Fast and the Furious, D-Day from Saving Private Ryan, The UFO blowing up Whitehouse in Independence Day, the last fight scene in The Matrix Revelations, the whole Dawn Of The Dead movie, All of the Resident Evils, the list goes on and on and on.
Oh! Army of Darkness, fighting the Undead Legions with a shotgun, a chainsaw and a souped up car with a rotating blade on the front.
The parkour sequence in Casino Royale, the smith vs neo fight in the first Matrix, or course.
