I think everybody hears sounds in their dreams. Perhaps the deaf people don't, but there realy is no reason for not being able to hear in a dream. The same goes for sounds from the real world.
Why would they think your crazy, everyone should here sounds in their dreams, because you hear them in real life, and dreams are based off of real life. Today I woke up from a dream with someone playing a guitar, and I heard it perfectly, and a little after I woke up.
in my case im not talking about dreaming about music that is being played in my room

Well I do remember a vague sound from last nights dream. I remember visually everything in my dreams but it seems most people I talk too they remember certains sounds. Is this something you can practice? or do some people just have better recognition and memory?
It's probably a memory issue. Dream recall and stuff. If you see and feel in your dreams, why wouldn't you hear? Train your recall, check dreamviews.com, I believe the basic info is there.
