Just want to introduce myself
I'm new here and have posted a few times. I thought it would be proper to really introduce myself.
I'm 30, mother of 2 and a stay at home mom.
I've always had very vivid dreams and could remember 3-4 dreams every morning. I've kept a dream journal for years. In the past year, I've become very interested in the "metaphysical" if you will. I meditate, I've studied Reiki (I'm level 2), and read a ton of metaphyical books. I've even taken dream classes. And I'm very interested in lucid dreaming.
I have become lucid many times, but it's only when I'm not really trying. If I try too hard I just get frustrated. Also, I'm not really good at controlling dreams yet. I can for a brief peroid, then I'm at the dreams mercy, even though I still realize it's just a dream. If a dream gets too out of control or scary I can and will wake myself up. I have such disturbing dreams at times, I can't tell people because I have in the past and they get scared and think I'm psycho and stuff.
Anyway, I'm babbling now. Thanks if you got this far. I'm glad you are here, because now I have someone to relate to and who can relate to me.

This is a little late... but welcome. I think that those people who get scared and think yer psycho also have disturbing dreams -their problem is they have no dream recall or lucidity. Sometimes I see the ability as a gift... other times as a curse. Either way I think all people have bizarre dreams... -only difference is we LDers remember them -and then some!
