I started this in another thread, where i misinterpreted the authors interogatives. This post may not make that much sense, or at least a few sentences, so bear with me.

The purpose being on how to AVOID nightmares if you have them frequently. Cause lets face it, if your not lucid, nightmares pretty much suck.

The thing that causes nightmares is the same thing that 'causes' dreams.

Wishes, desires, feelings/emotions, IMAGINATION, amonth some other things like : Too much Starcraft...ehhehe

Anyway, there is an obvious correlation between waking life and the content of dreams.only your dreams will suffer.

Now you might say that you were 'born' depressive...that you need medication to help you...well i can't go into all this stuff now, i'm not a registered psychologist, only a student.

Just keep a freakin' balance in your life...and keep everything in moderation, whether it be sex, sleep, or rock and roll.

Furthermore, it is known that heredity and behaviour can play Huge roles in the developlement of an individual. I'm not ruling out hereditary, as it is a foundation for behaviour, but hereditary can be overcome, and beaten through our behavioural decisions. Your behaviuor in waking life affects the content in your dreams.

CHECK YOUR THOUGHTS ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS. If they are continually negative, make them positive. Humanity has so much more to be grateful for, but we tend to focus on the negative aspects that effect us. Apart from that, emotional state can effect dream content. Emotions can be controlled, if you have trouble with that-see a psychologist, or DEAL with it.

I know what i'm writing is quite general and fits the definition of the word 'RAMBLING'. Forgive me, but i'm not sure what dreams you have or the content, as i am not close to you, or don't even know the influential charactaristics that make up your life.

So if you could specify, i might be able to help even more.

CHEERS!
