Dream Recall - How Many?
I'm just wondering how many dreams per night should we be able to recall in order to give ourselves the best chance of recalling a lucid dream?
For example, I can consistently recall one dream per night (usually the one in the morning).
So what are the chances that I am forgetting a lucid dream that I may have had earlier in the night? Or is one enough to start obtaining lucidity? (I can usually remember my one dream in full detail though, if that makes things different).
Finally, are lucid dreams more vivid and therefore easier to recall than regular dreams?

Hey Matt,
Well, it's hard to say. Obviously the more dreams you recall, the greater your chances of recalling a lucid dream. I think it really comes down to when you have your lucid dream. If you have it towards the later part of your night (early morning), you're probably more likely to remember it because it is then when your dreams are longer and ,if you're lucid, more memorable. You'll wake up and stay up because that's the time you would normally get out of bed anyway. So, you'll spend more time recalling the dream you were just in.
In general lucid dreams are more vivid in the sense that you can experience deeper sensations due to the lucidity. This would naturally make it more memorable. However, if you have a lucid early in the night (which would be shorter in length), then wake up (natural part of sleep process), then fall back to sleep after just a few seconds withouth taking the time to recall the dream - you would end up forgetting the dream.
The MILD technique is a way of training your mind to wake you up and give you the chance to recall your dream after every wakup during the night.

Well the more dreams you recall the better. When you wake up from a dream you also have a better chance of becoming lucid because your mind is fully conscious then you go to the dream. SO I would say 5-6 would be the best, but average would probably be around 2-3.
