What is it?
First of all, I've never had a WILD. Only ever accidental DILDS. I tried to WILD last night, and I got 3-4 short lucid dreams, each around 5-10 minutes in length.
I did the normal WILD procedure. Relax, close your eyes, don't move. I fell into the transition phase, but this time, the phase was like 40 minutes. then when I got the dream I started the dream knowing it was a dream. (Oh, and I didn't WBTB)
It was incredibly blurry and I was aware of my blankets one and the dream. I grabbed something in the dream until my dream came into focus. But I still could feel reality.
It wasn't very vivid, and for the rest of the night, I just dropped in and out of the dreams. I would slowly fade away from one dream, than 30 minutes later, another one would start. And, I would start the dream being lucid. And at the start of each dream there would be an alarm, as if to alert me into lucidity. Could anyone explain tome what I was experiencing?

I think you did experience a WILD but it was maybe not how it is expected, a traditional WILD is when you go into sleep paralysis, then see hypnogogic imagery and maybe sounds, then you enter the dream, not everyone experiences this, since things were fairly blurry and fuzzy for you i am guesing you didn't have the most awareness in these lucid dreams so you probably were not aware of the transition from awake to dreaming.
I think you slipped in and out of dreams because of this initial determination, i think that you were determined to lucid dream and it came out, you faded out of dreams, though you still had that concious jolt that allowed you to recognise you were dreaming, over and over, it can happen sometimes, its perfectly normal. I think you had a successful night,i wish you the best of luck withh further experiences, if you need any help please do feel free to PM me :)
