      Look at your watch?

At the end of every class, try to fly?
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

First, get a quarter. Whenever you want to do a reality check, take the quarter out and read the writing on it. If it changes, you are dreaming.

Or, get a digital watch. Whenever you want to do a reality check, look at your watch and note the time. If it changes, you are dreaming.

Or, put your fingers through the palms of your hands. Whenever you want to do a reality check, take your dominant thumb and press it against the opposite palm. If it passes through, you are dreaming.

Or, stick your tongue through your teeth. Whenever you want to do a reality check, try to stick your tongue through your front teeth. If it passes through, you are dreaming.

All very easy to do, most are pretty inconspicuous unless you make a show of it.
      Are you dreaming?

Most of the time if you just take a hard look around you and think to yourself, "is this a dream?" you will find that it is sufficient enough. If you go through your daily routine with that "am I dreaming" mindset, I guarantee you lucid dreams. This technique is commonly referred to as "lucid living". I find that if you use this technique, reality checks are rarely necessary.

I like the "plug your nose and try to breathe" method myself.
