Creating People in LDs

As I explained in another post, I frequently have WILDs. In the past couple of weeks, it has been nightly. I have always just let my brain create the dream world and I just explore and go with it.

Last night, when my dream world ended up being my own house, I was bored. So, for the first time ever, I thought, "Why don't I see if I can make someone appear." I decided on someone very distinct--Abraham Lincoln. :-)

In the dream I stood there and said, "Okay, Abraham Lincoln appear." Nothing. Again, "Abraham Lincoln appear." Nothing. A third time, "Abraham Lincoln appear." Still nothing. Then I thought, "What good is being conscious in a dream if you can't even make people show up."

So I walked into another room and as I passed a mirror I saw my reflection and it was all distorted. I started watching it and my face and body were "morphing". It was like my flesh was liquid. My reflection was forming into the shape of Abraham Lincoln. It took it several seconds to take shape and I could see the stages of it taking shape from looking nothing like him to looking just like the pictures I've seen.

As soon as it looked just like him, he appeared in front of the mirror standing right in front of me. Of course I was like, "Cool!" But he didn't talk. He just stood there. And I woke soon afterward.

Has anyone else had this experience. Does it come easy to "summon" people or places in dreams. Like I said, I've never consciously tried it before. But, since the LDs are happening so frequently now, I figured I'll give it a try.

For me I had my first Lucid dream last night and I made jessica alba apear by expecting her to be behind me and she was there

I do that sometimes. I usually just make a random person appear, not someone I know. I once dreamt of Taekwondo, and I wanted to practice some self defence techniques, but as I was alone, I couldn't do it. I just imagined a person at my own size, and in front of me a... transparent person appeared. She had my shape, but it looked like she was made out of either water or glass, or both. Think of the waterfall scene in TLC's "waterfall" music video, if you've seen it. I went ahead and practiced with her, she spoke only a little, and her voice sounded similar to mine. Strange...

Well...it sounds like your not having a hard time getting into LD's..that's a big step already. Summoning...I think you have to retain some semblance of reality and think "Okay, my man Abe is going to appear behind this door"...then slowly open the door knowing it is possible...give your mind a chance to generate him resonably, and not have to conjure up something it knows is impossible in real life...play around..you'll get it eventually, you've got the power!
