How long does it usally take to enter SP after you start seeing HI???
I'm not aware of there being any "specific" time frame.
I believe it varies from person to person.. and even from experience to experience.
I've had many, many lucid dreams, but only two or three mild episodes of SP. It doesn't necessarily have to be a goal unto itself.
Don't know mate, I've never been conscious when fully hypnogogic. When I'm in Sp it happens when I "wake up" at random in the middle of the night and only rarely.
I often get hypnagogic imagery and never enter a REM state. This usually happens with afternoon naps.
Sometimes sleep paralysis just hits me on its own really fast, and the next thing I see, I'm dreaming.

HI = Hynagogic Imagery. I have much more in the way of Hynagogic Sounds myself, probably due to being a musician and more aurally driven.Quote:
