So do you try to have lucids when you have work/school the next day ? poll
Yes, I LD regardless, do we really have a choice?
I've been trying to WILD every night regardless of what time I have to get up the next day. Its good practice and there isn't any real reason not to.
Anyone else feel "rested" after they move from an unsuccessful WILD attempt? I tend to feel like I've just woken up from a nap.
I would LOVE to be able to LD during the work week but since I do wbtb at 4:00 am and then attempt to WILD (which could take up to an hour and a half).. I would simply hate to get up at 5:40 am to go to work. :P
Why not? It marks a great contrast for me. Freedom vs. total lack of the afore mentioned (school).
Unless I have to get up insanely early, since all of my lucid dreams tend to happen around 7 or 8.
Yeah. I've had plenty of LD's when I had to go to work the next day. Pretty much gives me a buzz throughout the entire day, when it happens. As long as I get a good night's sleep (which starts at about 6 hours, for me) I have a good chance of having an LD, if I really apply myself.
I always used to try to have lucid dreaming in my mind even if I was thinking about school or work the next day. But now I have temporarily put my education on hold due to a change of career plans, so I'm gonna have plenty of mental capacity to concentrate on it now. I still have a job, but I mostly work evenings.
Nope. When I LD I tend to wake up a whole lot between LD's. This distrupts my sleep, so I prefer it on the weekends.
More than half of my LDs are on the weekend. Probably because I get lots of sleep on the weekends; during the week I only get 6-7 hours.
Hold on, you talking about WBTB to WILD? Or just LDs in general? Because DILDs do not take anything really, all in a normal nights sleep! But WBTB+WILD is a different matter.
It's kinda difficult for me to do WILD when there's school, but I'm trying.
I LD because it makes the next coming day more bearable
