Not usually, but in a really creepy dream I had once there was creepy organ music through the whole thing. I wasn't lucid though.

I have now and again. i've even been involved with a few songmaking sessions in my dreams, yet have failed to remember them or write them down, thus forgetting them

Not in a lucid dream, but in normal dreams when I have been listening to my Mp4 the songs are EXACTLY like the real ones, indestinguishable. It's amazing; well it depends on how vivid the dream is. Once I heard the lyrics were being sung in a strange tone of voice and that should have made me lucid. I told myself though that that was how it had been the whole time I'd had it even though I could tell it was different. Doesn't make any sense but I beleived it at the time.

Reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Peter wishes for his own theme music...

My very first LD had Muse playing(Muse is a band BTW).

Every note, word and sound was perfectly clear.

I love to create instant music when I lucid dream. I just create the pure sound without worrying about instruments. Sometimes I'll work with an orchestral score, fascinated at how I can direct and score the different instruments, improvising as I go. But memory is a bitch. A few nights ago I created an entire progressive rock piece complete with this absolutely beautiful singing voice. It was a lucid dream, but a few minutes after I finished, I realized in the dream itself that I had completely forgotten the music I had just composed. I'm not sure why it is so hard to remember original music from a dream, but it seems like other people have experienced this memory problem as well.

      Wild music

Some time ago I was doing WILD and experienced HI that takes me away for a little time, suddenly I woke up and I was lucid, standing in front of my bed and I was shocked. I heard loud and quick music, something like industrial with many voices and everything was so dynamic and I realized that music is produced by every thing in my room. So it was like concert of things, but psychedelic and industrial. After I woke up I tried to compose something like that on PC so I will upload it on net. IŽve got more dreams inspired music. When IŽll have time IŽll upload it somewhere and youŽll can find link in my signature.

Several times, I heard music or done it by my own in Ldreams.
One time I remember, I was in a concert and heard all the instruments playing. several voices at the same time. It was great. Then I tried to
hum the melodie to have it when I awake. Then I let myself woke up
and had still the melodie. I immediatly recorded it on a voice recorder.

An other time, I got up in a LD. But I heard the radio. I was a little frustrated because I thought it was my clock radio. But then I realized that it was not the radio, then the sound faded away.

my lds almost always have music. sometimes it is just randomly occurring in the back ground, and other i take the lead. i never actually play an instrument, i just sort of conduct an invisible orchestra. The music is amazing, but as someone else said, i can remember almost nothing of it after awakening. Only once can i remember singing along. I just remember a small part of the chorus was kind of mantra-like: "CRUISIN ON A DREAM SHIP!". In that particular dream i was in the vacuum of space with no planets in sight, just a bunch of really colorful gaseous clouds.
