      genetic, I think it's good!

There was only one part that I didn't really "agree" with and that's were you stated that checking clocks was the most "prevalent" reality check:

Another good habit to start if you are to pursue lucid dreaming is to do what are called "reality checks". These checks are normal checks during the day to get you into a routine of checking simple items in waking life that would most likely end up being distorted in your dreams. The most prevalent of these is the clock check. This is where you would go through the day checking to see if your clock is distorted and asking yourself if you are dreaming. Even if you know you are not, it is good habit to get into so hopefully when you look at a clock in your dream you will do the check and hopefully become lucid (aware).

I, myself, have never done reality checks using clocks as I rarely see a clock in my dreams.. but this is just me.

Reality checks are usually done when you've identified your dream signs and see them in your waking life. A good time to reality check could also be every time you go through a doorway.

Clocks are very unreliable, (for me anyway) that used to be my main reality check but it failed me on many occasions so i stopped using it. For me the finger count realoty check is the most efficient.
