Waking up without an alarm clock

okay im not really on a topic posting rampage just had a qustion...

a year back i kinda programed my BIological clock '' to wake me up at any time i want by just wishing before going to sleep..but i have to see what time it is first..and no it doesnt has to be on the same time i can almost wake up at anytime iset my mind into

say like i had to wake up at 9:30 ..''since its summer and most of us dont have a fixed sleeping schedule...without using an alarm clock..before going to sleep id see my watch say for like its already 4 in the morning and theres only 5 hours of sleep left for me..i will my self and talk to my self by saying like i really have to wake up at 9:30 this is really important then go to sleep thinking about it..and i wake almost right on time just 10 mintues earlly i dont really belive in ''spirit guides'' i just think it has to do with something in science..

it also comes in handy when i use the bus to go home see if u oversleep sometimes in the bus u miss your stop so u have to be alert..again i see my clock and note the time and will my self to wake up after 20 or 30 mintues ''depending on how loaded the bus it may take more time''so i always find myself awake ten mins earlier...

i think its a mix of willpower and you mind switching to autopilot when going to sleep..mind you i do get lucid sometimes of this like in the dream i remmber oh i wonder what time it is..i think i should wake up from this dream and i do....i just wonder if any of people could do it? or has done it before?

thats a real cool ability and very useful too. for myself I can sometimes wake myself up after the first dreamcycle, but its definately not as precies and good as you. Might i ask how you did that "programming"? Did it take long time?

well i dont really know how it just manifest itself..i will my self amost at anything i do so it just started as a habbit then i started realising it...i advise you to read stuff about the subconcious mind ..and will power though

my mom seems to have it...i asked her if she needs an alarm clock to wake up she says no she just almost always wakes up when ever she says she will..and its alway precise

I do that all the time on weekends or during summer. I still set an alarm, just in case, but I haven't actually heard it go off all summer. Like you said, I've always woken up about 10 mins before it was set to go off.

But I've never done that during school! My alarm would be set for 6:30 am and I'd wake up to it. There were times when it malfunctioned and I woke up about 10-20 minutes afterward, or there'd be times when I woke up an hour early because of school-related anxiety or something. But I'd never wake up right before 6:30.

So anyway, I'm thinking that it's much easier to do if you're planning on waking up a different time every day. During school/work where you get up at the same time every day, I think your mind learns to rely on your alarm clock and kind of shut down its own natural abilities.

Lol! I think it has to do with how much you want to wake up. I remember when I was little that I would always wake up early and on time when we were going camping or I'm going to a friends house. However, if there is school the next day I sleep like a rock.

This technique probably has something to do with mneunics. If you directly apply this 'willpower' or ability to try to lucid dream, aka MILD, you'll have a lot of success. [/i]

I have awaken between 7:00-7:10 religiously for close to two years. Even if I gio to bed at 2:00 A.M. I would still wake up at that time. I have heard of several people waking up to the same time frequently.
But I have never heard of training your self to do it. That is cool
