      Dream characotrs: Why do some help you and others don't?

      I was reading something in another topic and I started woindering this....Why some help you and others try and stop you? If someone could get it so that a person who always tells you that you are dream appears in tons of the dreams then It would help with Lding..

      Some characters represent the part of your psyche that helps you strive to succeed, and some characters represent the fears that hold you back.

      Kinda like this one dream I had when me and a couple buddies were riding in a car and I asked one of them to roll down the window because there was a huge bug flying around the inside of the car. He refused. So I turned to my other buddy and asked him, he said "good idea" and broke the window open with his head.

      The buddy who broke the window with his head is one of my best friends in RL, but I recognize he can be self destructive at times. Hence, this dream was perfect.

      I'm gonna go get some animal crackers now. Excuse me...

      I have not talked to a dream person in a long time, atleast in a lucid dream. None of them ever been all that helpful to me. One thing I always used to try is to get one to agree to help me become lucid, never did get one to help though.

      Well.... just like people they are people... some are happy to help others tell you to zark off.

      The fun part is asking them what they would think about the hypothetical situation that if you were dreaming and they were merely a dream character, some argue with you! others kind of smile and say... what if I am the dreamer and your just the dream... that kinda threw me for a loop when I heard that.

      all of my dream characters have either been ignored by me, or are really annoying, such that i might have to "destroy" them its fun all the same, i usually dont interact with dream characters

      PS, remus, your opening post has no anticedent, bad bad bad, now we cant have any of those grammar mistakes that you dont even remember the name for, can we?
