      Farthest you've travelled?

What's the farthest you've been able to travel in an LD? I imagine going anywhere on Earthis pretty easy, but what about going farther? Anyone been to the moon? Mars?

I've always fancied going to Europa myself. Just imagine watching Saturn rise!

I've flown into space a number of times, but never stayed lucid long enough or traveled fast enough to actually arrive anyplace.

One time I was bicycling across a large college campus and deliberately "folded" it to get me to the other side instantly. That might be fun with something bigger - like the entire time/space continuum.

Interesting, pj. Have you read Hawkings' theories of space warping to travel large distances in a short time?

Perhaps we're all subliminally aware of our innate possibilities.

I travelled to space and landed on a planet with rings which I guess was saturn. There was a snow covered forrest and I talked to a rock. The rock told me the police were after me so I ran into the forrest where I saw a place covered by thick velvet curtains and pushed my way inside. I met a person or alien. It was tall and wearing a hospital gown so I couldn't tell if it was male or female. It looked like a person with straight long hair but it didn't talk to me when I asked it stuff.

I've read some of Hawkings' work, but not intensively studied it. That connection never even occurred to me.

Yes, perhaps we are... perhaps we humans have forgotten an awful lot.

Well.. I've LDed that I travelled deep out into space quite a few times.. and ended up in some very strange worlds indeed. I couldn't tell you where they might be, though. Once I get past the moon, I don't recognise anything.

I've had dreams before where I wish to "just go somewhere random" and then teleport. No idea where in the multi verse I end up or how far I am but I'm not in Kansas anymore =P If you get what I mean.

the farthest i have ever gotten was right out on the edge of space. I could see the whole earth and everything. it was actually pretty cold up there. I kinda got stuck though. everytime i would try to fly back down to earth, i would get sucked back out into space. Kinda like anti gravity or somthing. It is quite peaceful out there actually. Nice and quiet and cold. I would love to go back to that spot sometime.
