      Feeling Freaked

      anytime i go into a lucid..it only seems to last for what seems like 15 seconds. i think its due to feeling a little freaked out...like someone without telling spiked my beer with acid or something ya know. but does this happen to others? getting freaked out of your lucid?

      Hmmm, ive never really felt like what your describing, i usually get mega excited.
      What might work for you is the gain some clarity, try either looking at your hands, rubbing your hands together or spinning on the spot or all three if you wish, this makes things alot clearer.
      Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

      What helps for me is telling myself to calm down. Before you go off having a wild and crazy adventure, just stay in place for a minute looking at your hands, increasing clairity, etc. This will help you relax and not have the dream break down.

      It really shouldn't anyway, dreams don't just randomly break down. You've subconsiously convinced yourself to think that getting excited=dream collapsement.

      What happens to me quite alot lately is i become lucid and as soon as i become lucid the dream goes really blurry and i feel really high and most times i can't do anything about it so i wake myself up or i just wake up.

      If somebody spiked my beer with acid in a dream I'd be so excited.

      I'd say, "Wow, how thoughtful! I didn't even have to conjure it!"

      But I don't drink in real life.

      i aint sayin acid is bad....but if the effects kicked in with out you knowlingly takin it..it would be a little creepy
