Anyone here still in High School ,
If you are do you not think that School spoils LDing and your dream recall as you have to get up early and you dont have enough time too sit in your bed and think what your dreams were last night

I'm in high school. Since trying to LD, I've actually been sleeping much better and getting more accomplished. Reason being, I want to get my full eight hours. So I'll come home from school, do homework earlier, and work on stuff for the future. That way I can get to bed early and have less work-related stress. It can be done.

Yeah, I'm in my Graphic Design class right now, and really tired from lack of sleep. -_- (vocational school).

I usually only try to practice LDing on weekends. Lately these past few months I've been widely unsuccessful due to stress from school, however.

Not true, on days that I have late classes or no classes I sleep in and lucid dream. Although I'm not looking forwards to after college.

I'm a junior in high school (vocational school or however it's called), I sleep at 12:30 AM and wake up at 5:45 AM, school is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, I return walking to my house and do homework and other stuff, so I only get to sleep like 5-6 hours a day.

      Dear Selmuir:
I hear you, it was definitely more difficult focusing on your dream recall and lucid
dreaming with high school exams/projects etc in the way. Once I finished high school and started working full time I found I was remembering more dreams and I even had a lucid dream (once lol).
Depending how much you like your job and how stressful it is will probably influence your dream recall and lucid dreaming capability. High school was just the pits for me and it never helped my dreaming experiments AT ALL!

Yeah I'm not a morning person at all so school is torture. Last night I slept so well, it was amazing and then I had to get up early and that ruined it. My secret was to listen to a semi-scary Coast to Coast AM show (shadow people, ghosts, OBE type stuff, etc) on my mp3 player and then the talking gets me very tired so then I put my mp3 player under my bed and was knocked out for 7 hours, only to awaken to a very warm bed because I accidentally left my electric blanket on.

I've never had an LD on a school night I'm pretty sure, most of mine are at least later than 8:30. Going to bed early does feel amazing when you wake up, but I'd rather be in bed listening to the radio or music. So yeah school=bad, weekends=good.

Go to bed earlier. That's what I've been doing since I started working. I go to bed at 10 pm and get up at 7 am. When I didn't work I stayed up until 2-3 am and got up at 11 am or 12 pm.
