      teeth falling out

Ever since I could remember, I've always had lots of dreams in which my teeth start to feel really loose, then eventually i play with them too much with my tongue and they fall out. does this mean something? I've had countless dreams with this occurence but I still can't become "aware" of it, even though I remember my dreams so well.

I have these dreams too! They're usually very painful and scary for me, I hate that sort of crap.
As for what it means, nobody can tell you but you. All those books about 'dream symbols' are complete crap. Just think about it, think about what it means to you, and that's what it means.

      It's a dreamsign, I had that too.

This is a reoccuring one that happens to alot of people for some reason.

I've had one once or twice myself, what they mean, I havent the foggiest. But they are bizzare as hell to experience.

      Brush your teeth!!

I read that it means you're insecure about your appearance

I have these dreams too, as well as dreams about my eyes falling out

My teeth dreams involve fillings coming out and teeth crumbling and thoughts of how expensive my dental bill is going to be. Then a while after I wake up I feel relieved that my teeth are intact.

It's one of those situations where you are exercising inadvertant dream control. Your thinking, "I hope more of my teeth don't fall out" and that thought instantly causes it to occur.

I agree wholeheartedly with Violajoker... Dream interpretation is personal however interest in dream dictionaries and dream meanings will help some people think about dreams more and that extra interest will result in better dreaming for them.

I also like the notion that dream content can only be truly interpretted by the dreaming mind in the dreaming reality.

I always have dreams of my teeth falling out. It seems pretty common. I wonder if it is something as simple as... You brush your teeth right before bed, floss, inspect them in the mirror, ect. It's bound to be the last thing on your mind.

I did knock out all my front teeth at a party once. I saw them crumbled on the floor after falling into a stainless steel sink. I was sure I was dreaming. Too bad it was real.

Apparently it's an extremely common dream to have but I never have for some reason. I guess it shows too because I'm not obsessed at all with my appearance. But Robot Butlers idea about it being the last thing on your mind is very fleasable as well.

Robot Butler, so sorry to hear about that.

I have this dream symbol now and then, when I need to take better care of my general health.

ive had that dream before. I heard when you dream of your teeth falling out, its a sign of alot of stress. And i was certainly stressed when i had the dream.

Hmm.. well whatever it may be, usually when it happens, it's pretty random. Most of the times, i'll be doing something normal... and then I realize my teeth feel really loose and I start to get scared, but at the same time, i can't stop myself with moving them back and forth with my tongue, and they just crumble out into little bits. But I wake up and I'm happy that everything is normal.

I guess I could say there is some level in insecurity about my appearance, but I don't feel like it's something I stress over really... and I don't have much stress in my life, even though I am not content with it. If the dream is so common... I dunno I feel like it should mean something... it is a weird dream to have over and over again for many people.

Yeah, teeth falling out is insecurity or something. Someone already mentioned that. I've only dreamt of that once if I'm not mistaken. I dreamt I lost my hair once. I looked at myself in the mirror and my hair was gone. Then I woke up.

In such cases, if you are trying to interpret it, it might be more right to look at your reactions to your teeth falling out rather than the fact that they are falling out.

I've never had my teeth fall out on me. But I'm generally not insecure either. I guess that just backs up that theory.

Many people have these.. I have this and reading this post actually made me recall a dream.. I usually end up being aware I am dreaming, and also in the bed. But, mostly it seems I forget about them, even by intent. Going to far, learning too much..

It is interesting how many people who has this though. I would like to do "poll" and see how many of those experiencing this, actually lost a tooth..

Come to think of it, we all lost our first set of teeths..

      Interesting, ehy?

Aside from baby teeth, I've never lost a tooth and I have this dream quite often. Hell I've never even had a cavity, braces or had to have my wisdom teeth removed or anything.

I am VERY insecure about my looks but strangely enough, my teeth are probably the one part of my body that I'm not insecure about at all

I had one of those teeth dreams before and it was during a time when I thought my teeth were going back to pre-braces time.
