would it be possible, in a lucid dream, to enter into memories? and replay them or somthing? i think that would be neat...

I can answer it partially, you can definitely remember things (e.g. what you wanted to do that night) But I've never tried testing it to see how bad it is ...
And replaying it sounds great! Like watching that scene from the second harry potter movie... :D
sorry, i thought this deserved it's own topic so it wouldn't take the checklist off topic.
i've done this before. i replayed the night i had before the LD. it worked quite well... but i haven't done it since... i kind of fell into it... i don't know how you'd control/induce something like that.
It is absolutely possible.Quote:

I've experienced it during drug trip/LD like state ":D
Well, it is really freaky - looks like your whole life is a "video tape", you can replay in your mind :/
Sure, why not? Memories are usually pretty complex things, though and sometimes dreams have a way of confusing or overlapping memories with new (lucid) experiences or creating new ways of perceiving old memories.
Reminds me of "the Butterfly Effect" movie.
stephen laberg says its possible, i havent done it though
wow, yea, when i have lucid dreams, im deffinately going to do many experiments with this, i cant wait :D yea, its kinda like "the butterfly effect" but im not really, changing the outer world, or hopefully not changing the memory itself (unless it could be done to change some bad memories into good memories or somthing like that :o) its also kinnda like the movie "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" except different in ways :) (awesome movie by the way jim carey plays serious :o) yes :)
