Care to elaborate? If you are a little more specific we can help you.

I've been trying for 7 months to become lucid. :p (Though I'm sure my sleep patterns have something to do with it.)
How long have you been trying?
Dude, it took me two years to have a lucid dream. However, I kept trying til I had one. Just do what the tutorials say. Quit saying you can't have them and be patient.
Everyone can have lucid dreams. Its fact, quit convincing yourself otherwise.
If you organized some questions we'd be glad to answer them. It's hard to help you out when your trouble is so vague. Are you stressed? Have you been keeping your dream recall up? Do you get insufficient sleep?

I just had my first one 2 days ago after trying for a week. It wasn't very good, but what worked for me was WBTB followed by a MILD. I had like 4 LD's, but each one only lasted like 10 seconds before I woke up. I'm hoping to do better next weekend.
so wut are yall doing that im not
^ He's right. Fortunately or unfortunately, there is SO much information out there about lucid dreaming that we really need more details about your specific case if you want help. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read through all of the available tutorials one by one.
aight ive 6een using a dream journal 6ut it isnt working cuz i cant remem6er none of my dreams thats my 6iggest pro6lem
Well, I have moderate dream recall so I can help with that. So, what do you do when you wake up? In general, you want to stay still for a few moments so you can remember the events that happened. Once you feel you've remembered everything you can, immediately write it down. Keep a book by your bed.
Also, for starters, I find it's best when you're waking up naturally as a jarring alarm gets your attention and requires you to move when you wake up. So, start practicing by naturally waking up, then slowly progress to remembering despite events such as alarms.
And most of all: It takes time! Be patient!
Oh, by the way, can you provide any numerical indicators? Eg. I've been keeping a daily dream journal for 7 months or I've been trying since 1 month ago. It would probably help.
n00b! Its called a Dream Journal.
All you need is a Dream Journal, dont get discouraged if you dont have a LD, OR cant remember your dreams, its completely normal. Just kick back, and enjoy. Best of luck.
Saying "LDs don't work" is the very best way to not have any.
Yeah I agree with Eminence, you got to have a will to learn, It took me almost 3 months to actually have one, but when I did, I went down on a girl and it roxxored =D I rule. Anyway I found I'm most successful with WILD's but do whatever floats your boat. Also, please work on your typing skills.
