It's probably because on the weekend you have time to get up, relax and write down your dreams to every meticulous detail. During the week you're usually rushing to go to school or work. |

I'd have to agree with Grod. Also, though, you may just not be able to concentrate enough on recall during the week because of busy life worries. I know my dreams aren't as detailed, say...now, when I have a bunch of finals, as opposed to a week or two ago when I didn't have any. You may be thinking "I will remember my dreams I will remember my dreams" and then not being able to because your subconcious mind is so focused on other, school/work related things that it just doesn't listen. |

yea i try to get enough sleep but im having a problem with school right now. relaxing sounds good but what about sleeping pills like Valerian, do they work? or have a bad effect? |

I wouldn't know. However, I do know that I can never remember my dreams no matter how hard I try when I take cold medicine that makes you drowsy. In fact, whenever I'm forced to sleep drugged up on something, even if its not supposed to make you sleepy, I just don't remember my dreams, or remember any detailed ones anyways. Usually just fragments. Drugs have a way of messing with your head. My theory is that a lot of them have the effect of limiting your higher functions during sleep, like Lucid Dreaming and Memory. |

Yes exactly what Grod said. I personally only LD on weekends because it's much more stress-free and more time. |
|
Well i'm on holidays for the next two months. Which means virtually no worries/stress at all. Hopefully that means i'll get a lot of LD's if i'm lucky |

Current Goal: Get Lucid/Better Dream Recall.
Same with me. Weekends always seem to be way more productive when it comes to dreaming in my case. I'm almost convinced my sleeping schedule during weekdays is to blame, but like others have said, stress plays a huge role as well. School generates a lot of stress for me. |
