do regular sleeping pills effect becoming lucid? i tried sleeping pills for a couple of days and had little to no dream recall, i heard of "lucid pills" but do other pills work or have a bad effect?

I think that could be. If the effect changes the way you wake up, it also could effect your ability to not forget the dreams in the first place. And also recall, etetera..

If I remember correctly, regular sleeping pills reduce the REM period.
yea ill probaly stop taking them, i dont need them i just wanted to know if they help
