Usually hear fine. My problem is sometimes they are not as bright as they could be. Sometimes almost black.
I hear perfectly fine in my dreams. I've had dreams where I have trouble seeing, though.
yeh but dreams are meant to be fuzzy ;)
i find lucid dreams are far more clear looking than normal ones.
another thing i find strange is i almost never see myself in dreams like its never third person where as i have a friend and she always seeying it from another persons view =/
You will find that the 'quality' of lucid dreams ranges from very fuzzy to extremely sharp.
Kind of like the difference between watching a 20 year old VHS tape and high definition TV.
well someone needs to get the remote n turn up the volume please =)
When my dreams get blurry or fuzzy using verbal commands usually works for me..like "INCREASE CLARITY NOW!!" or "INCREASE SIGHT!!" so mabey "INCREASE SOUND OR HEARING" or something will work in that case..also "INCREASE LUCIDTY" seems to work overall to make em more clear, its probally all up in your head but yelling out makes you more confident and gives you a sense of awareness
Yeah I hear when I dream. I don't think I could stand my dreams "on mute." I can't even ply videogames on mute. I would lose my mind. lol
Lucius, I should try that next time...
 how are you 'hearing' anyway?...
its strange because this morning i could hear perfectly fine in my dream
apparently talking helps =)
Sometimes everything seems strangely quiet and calm when I wake up from a loud dream.
My dreams too are mostly visual, unless there is a crash or sometin like that. Even when people talk it is often telepathic.
interesting
Lucius,
Used some of the methods you described last night. They worked better than spinning for me.
I noticed however, that I had to say the words. Thinking about them had no effect at all.
I suspect that somehow stimulating the motor control pathways of the brain is what does it.
Using these techniques, I was able to have my first hour long(real time) uninterrupted LD!
The only experience I've had with loss of hearing, Is in this recurring nightmare I have whenever I'm sick, or halucinating.
But its like i'm trying to do something impossible, And everything is muted. And very scary, But for like, forever, I try to do this impossible thing. all the while, and eerie highpitched noise is going on. Then all of the sudden, Sound! SoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo Much sound, Its like all the sound was building until is all came rushing through me. It felt like my head was about to explode, Then I'd wake up.
SO yeah, Not having any sound was always like a nightmarish thing for me.
Yeah lostanddelirious, a lot of my Lucid dreams are in third person too. I hate it lol.
i ususally just hear the mental thought process as it goes on in my head, and possible the sounds of the envirnment in the background...hmmm its 2 AM...im gunna go hit the sack and try some cool stuff!
cheers
