Problems with eyes trying to close during a lucid dream?

Ok I had 2 15 minute lucid dreams last night, the problem was my eyes kept trying to close and open, I could see the real world and my lucid world at the same time alot of times. I even looked in the mirror during my lucid dream and they were half way open with my eyes rolled up (kinda creepy).

Like im always holding my eyelids up in my lucid dreams I had this morning, or trying to open them really wide and it gives me more lucidity. Its annoying and I can see my eye lids like in my eye view. Does anyone have this happen and know how to stop it?

It seems to me that everything you're looking at, even that which you think is the 'real world', is all part of your dream. It's like a false awakening. You're dreaming about having your eyes open. Control of one's eyes could be considered a dreamsign, I've had the problem in lucids myself where I try to OPEN my dream eyes because all I see is darkness.

You need to remember, you really have no eyes in dreams, it's your belief that you do that mixes up the signals and then your mind creates the effect of seeing a 'real world' and the stuff going on in your dream.
