i asked a dream character last night who happend to be my brother when i became lucid what my name was and he just looked at me puzzled then started to laugh he was in a very good mood and jokingly said "dont you know your own name? its austin " which is in fact my name in real life now that i think about it i dont know what i was expecting to hear

My dream name is Amelia Line. I was just releived it wasn't something like "Fluffy McPoopypants" because that is more like the things my DCs would usually say.
I think you guys have some cool dream names, and ya yours is hilarious Caradon. I just wish I could manage to get Lucid but I just CANT WILD. Its always something. I start breathing unevenly, or I have to swallow mostly. I don't have any problems staying still. I'd probably want to have my dream guide tell me.
I remember my name in my dreams my real name is Randus but people call me Randy for short I hear both of them in dreams.
Funny, until I saw this thread I never thought about it. I don't think I remember my real name in LDs.
When you find out your dream name you should use that in your lucids from then on. (that would be fun especially if you get a really stupid name)

My dream characters usually call me by one of my three real names. Whenever I post them saying my real name on here, I just say "Abra" (a minor compulsion--but I dislike disclosing my real name online. Even my first name).
I want to incorporate this into my next task. It'd be funny if the name was Amy (as a child, I've always wanted that name).
