Music can be created very realisticly in lucid dreams because i have been in public places like pubs, shops etc and there have been songs on the radio or whatever and i haven't noticed any difference. |

This would be a great idea! In ordinary dreams I've been listening to my Mp4 player and the sound is exactly like in real life, it's as if our brains have their own Mp3 player! Has anyone else managed to get this to work in lucid dreams? How do you do this? Is the easiest way to find a radio or ipod or something in the dream or would it also work if you just command for a song to start playing? How realistic does it seem as well... any comments, advice or experiences regarding this are welcome! |

Yes i used to watch tv quite alot in lucids and that is weird, the programs are crazy. I watched a weather forecast, porn, music channels, sky sports news, and other random programs. (very interesting) |

Third one was really short and unstable
I had an FA where I turned on iTunes and it played "A Whole New World." I then WILDed (not really, obviously, since it was an FA), and the song played over the first bit of my lucid. Then it changed to "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. Which I don't own. I woke up with it still playing in my head. |

I have dreams with music in them, but never from an ipod. Usually it is coming from a store, restaurant, or whatever. I'll agree that it is reproduced exactly as it is in waking life. I'm always shocked by how accurate it is, especially considering I have a hard time carrying a tune. |

I've had a lot of dreams with music in them. One dream I was lucid and changing the color of the sun, as I did this I heard really high pitch noises that I've never heard before and also really beautiful music. |

Watching TV, that would be a great idea! Thanks, I bet I can get a few laughs from that! |

My music tends to vary. I heard Korn's "Coming Undone" in a dream and I found that if I concentrated, I could remember how the song went, and it would play like that. When I got to a blank spot, it added it's own lyrics. |
|
I think the quality of the music depends if you are lucid or not. Just like in non-lucids, a joke will seem hilarious... Until you wake up, and realize it really wasn't funny. One could assume music sounds wonderful and accurate, but if you heard the same stuff in real life it might sound flat, distorted, and screechy. Who knows. |
