Getting talked out of lucid dreaming

last night in my dream i realized something weird. i knew i was dreaming and all of a sudden some girl was like "your not dreaming"

i believed her lol and then it turned back into a normal dream

Wow. That sucks. I would've thrown a reality check IN HER FACE! >=D

The last time that happened in my dream, I explained the reasons why I knew I was dreaming. The kid that at first denied it shook his head saying "Oh. That means I should wake up! Wake up!" and disappeared.

Yeah... But sometimes talking with them doesn't work. In that case, chuck a fireball at her. Hover away from the situation. If you can't convince her without losing lucidity, escape is probably the best alternative.

Yeh dream characters are like that, they hate the fact that they are are just dream characters. (a part of your imagination)

I have trained myself not to get fooled by them, i have a few times before.

Hehe, the same thing happened to me this morning when I was dreaming. I was about to perform the nose pinch RC, and my dream brother told me that I wasn't dreaming, and I missed lucidity.

You're dreaming right now - Contantly think that, and you'll be good to go.

when i get that problem i just say giva me 10 good reasons why im not dreaming and because most of my DCs cant count they just go lol >=}

This happens to me a lot. I'll be on the verge of going lucid, and someone will provide me with some crazy dream logic that makes perfect sense, and I'll lost the lucidity.

I'll say, wait, "I have 7 fingers!" And they'll say, "No, see, You've got 3 on your other hand. Ten fingers is the normal amount." I'll say, "Oh! I see!"
