Question How long will learning Lucid Dreaming take?

I'd like to know because I am just starting learning and I have a busy schedule. So I need to know how long it will take.

Twenty years... I'm serious. Do you have the patience? Many try and fail. Will you persevere? How much do you want it?

Kidding about twenty years. The time varies from person to person. You could lucid dream only a few weeks after learning, or perhaps a few months. That's the average range (though I've met some that have lucid dreams, though low-quality, the night they learn about them. I've met others that had their first lucid dream after a year of work!). It really does vary from person to person, based on brain chemistry, environment, perspective, sleep schedule, etc. Most importantly, it's how much you want it. What you get out of it depends on how much you put in.

This may help you attain it quicker. It's a 2 hr seminar. Again, do you have the patience?

      Hey there,

How long will learning lucid dreaming take? The rest of your life.

Lucid dreaming isn't like trying to climb a mountain or run the 100 meters in ten seconds. It's not a matter of 'I've done it, it's done, yay me.'. It's more like a journey, of self-exploration, of dreaming, of awareness. It never stops. In many ways learning lucid dreaming requires you to make changes to your lifestyle, to your habbits. To basically give it a place in your life.

I could lucid dream some before I even knew what it was. But every person it different and no one can be sure how long it will take them. And Redrivertears has a very good point.
