I have a question for those who have lucid dreams

I have always been close to lucid dreams, I never kept a dream journal until recently(i don't know why i'm keeping one) but I've always had an awesome ability to remember my dreams from the time they start to the time they end with extreme detail. Only once in a while there will be a dream where I can't remember much of(if I'm exhausted). I had my first lucid dream as a child, I was in a pinball machine(lol) running from something, I didn't know what I was running from I was just running. I controlled all of my movements through the pinball machine, after controlling this dream for several minutes I woke up, but I couldn't move at all. This was my third or fourth time having Sleep Paralysis, which I still have to this day, with the occasional lift out of my body, though I've never had a full out OBE, because when I start lifting out its usually at a time when I'm not expecting it or wanting it to happen. Though its not all that much related to my question I do feel its important for people to know my history with these things, so they can get an idea of what I'm working with right now. My question is during a lucid dream, if I change my eye color say from brown to dark/light green, and ask my subconcious[Joy] to change my real life eye color to that color, will it be effective? Yes, for such a long paragraph its probably a very simple question. :banana:

if i understand the question correctly, correct me if i'm wrong, but you're asking wether or not it's possible to change your eye color in a dream and then have your subconscious make note of that color and make the change in real life?
If this is your question, I don't think this is possible. I don't think you can change your own eye color but someone else might have a different opinion. :P

Yes, you are correct that is my question. Well the changing of eye color is more of a Psychokinetic[PK] thing, though I heard that practicing PK in a lucid dream effects your chances at doing in real life in a positive way. So I from that I came up with the thought if I change my eye color in a lucid dream, I can ask my subconcious[Joy] to assist me in doing the same in real life.

well i have no experience in that field so i can't give you any real insight regarding PK or anything of the sort, sorry :P

Maybe try it out, and if you pull it off, that would be quite the thing.. :P

I know that using strong visual imagery, such as being in a lucid dream, is good for healing the body, because you are in the deeper subconciousness, and might possibly have more access to the bodies healing functions :P

and about eye colour,,, perhaps it is possible

I'm trying, but I can't seem to go fully lucid, I get a little "instance" of lucidity and then thats it.

Well I just read up on it to try and help you, psychokenises is actually the movement of objects with the mind. There are two types: Macro, the movement of large objects and micro, the movement of small objects.

What you are talking about is the study of biokenises by which, through forms of repeated meditation and will, some psi practitioners claim they can rearange the biology of their bodies. This could range from changing eye color to eye efficiency (how far you can see or how fast you can see), but basically what this stems from is the alignment of your DNA. Some psi experts believe that it is possible through meditation and continued belief that you can effectively change your DNA. Hope this gives you a little insight, I read that stuff in like 5 mins to see if I could help you :P

I know about all that stuff, but there are a lot of -kinesis', but they all fall under psychokinetics, so thats why its the only term I'm using. I've even had a friend who changed his eye color from green to a blueish color, I'm still not sure if they're not contacts, but he's really into stuff like that. More like an obsession =\.

well then maybe it is possible? and maybe the meditation has something to do with it. there's alot of talk about visualization; perhaps the visualization while meditating is really just an incubated dream that you could become lucid in? i believe you could be meditating and thinking about what it is you'd like to change and then fall asleep, lucid, and possibly change it. After a few of the things i've read though, it says it shouldn't be attempted by just anyone, you should have experience. It also says that it's gradual and could take a week or more for the effect to appear, given that you've continued your meditation and practice

Though that is true but usually danger with biokinesis is usually associated with trying to modify your dna by yourself. But I've read on Psipog with people who have had "success" in this asked there subconcious to change it and they had no reported problems. So that sort of gives me hope, besides who has 2-5 years of free time to get to one goal?

are you saying it took them 2-5 years to reach the state they wanted? geez that's a long time :P well if you're going to try it, power to you and good luck! I might join you sometime soon once I start getting more into meditation, it's one of my new year's resolutions :D If you start doing it, PM me and tell me of anything interesting that happens. For now, your best bet would be psi forums and your friend you originally stated; he could probably be a great first resource for you ;)

He told me some great techniques but we use two different meditations. I do the "normal" type of mediation that almost everyone uses, and he does Astral Meditation[OBE(Astral Projection)+Meditation], which is something that I cannot control just yet, and he's been doing stuff like this for years. Though I am more advanced than I credit myself, its still a little difficult. Oh! I should try to go from meditation to lucid dreaming, I usually meditate for at least an hour whenever I get around to it so it would be easy to fall asleep, but lucidity however is something else I cannot yet control. However I will not give up, I'm also gonna take pictures of how my eyes look now, before I start changing them.

you'll have to inform me on the these two types of meditation techniques :P Before this thread, i didn't know anything about psychokinetics at all so thank you for opening my eyes to this new field of science, it sounds interesting and possibly worth some time to research. One hour? That's damn good, most i got mine up to when i used to meditate was 20 mins but thats cause my position was all wrong and uncomfortable :roll: I'm sure you could become lucid from meditation, Tibetan monks use a meditation technique to induce lucid dreams all the time so why couldn't you ;) and good idea about taking before and after shots

I think you may get more luck posting this in "Beyond Dreaming", as it is a bit paranormal.

Truth is I've only meditated about 5 times in my life, the first time was wonderful I even started lifting out of my body slowly, but I was kind of scared so I didn't let myself float completely out. The second wasn't as interesting so thats why I stopped, my third time was for an hour and I've been stuck at that point since then. And your welcome I've been introduced to a lot of things in my life, I'm even into paranormal things though I'm sure your familiar with most of those.

Only slightly but if I'm correct "Psychokinesis" was a term coined by a scientist, or something like that. I'll have to research that subject later on, and I'll look into that part of the forum also. Thank You.
