Problem w/Paralysis
Ok, I already asked this question in the Newbie section, but nightowl suggested I post it here so maybe someone else could help me.
Anyway, my problem w/lucid dreams is, once I realize I'm dreaming, I go into a state of paralysis, panic, and wake up.
Does anyone know why this always happens?
Does anyone know what I can do to become lucid and maybe get past this paralysis thing?
This paralysis thing happens every time i realize I'm dreaming, and even sometimes happens for no reason. Once I died in a dream and it happened. Another time I saw a friend of mine in a dream, and it happened. It usually happens when I notice something weird about the dream and realize that it's not real. I don't think I've ever managed to get past the point of realization that I'm dreaming, before I become paralyzed and can't do anything else.
I'm not sure if it's just my dream body, or my real one as well becoming paralyzed. I feel as though I have fallen, and have a buzzing sensation throughout my body and I freak out because I cant move or see.
When this happens, I try to calm myself down, but I always wake up too quickly.
Can anyone help?
Thanks :)

Really good timing on this post. I've been reading about dream paralysis the past few days and haven't experienced it til last night.(Damn placebo effect). But I aslo figured out a way out of it. I was doing a WILD and felt that magic electric feeling of entering a dream. I got out of my dream bed and half, or more than half, of my body was paralyzed. I was retarded in trying to stand up. Almost ready to collapse, then I just started spinning wildly. I notice I don't need to have control of my limbs to spin. My whole body just spins on a pivot. SO I spun madly and ended up on top of a building in a city. My body was still very "stiff" but it only took 10 seconds for me to get my "dream legs" and continue my dream.
