Has anyone tried summoning food and eating it in a lucid dream? Couldn't you just stuff yourself with food since you won't get full? What's it like? And if you haven't tried it, I recommend you do :) . I haven't had a Lucid Dream ever but I haven't read anyone posting about food.

Interstingly, I have tried that. For some reason my sensus are all messed up. I tried to eat/drink "tea and crumpets" yet I have no idea what they are. They tasted like "&*$!" which i would expect but I still have no idea how bad they are...
Actually come to think of it. In a regular dream when I was little, I ate this crisp and it tasted like some kind of gross animal. It normal life though they taste alright.

I tried eating in an LD once as a way to meet a personal goal of seeing if/how I could taste and smell in dreams. I didn't stuff myself, I just ate whatever I could find in a dream version of my old house. Healthy stuff, it turned out. The grapefruit was quite refreshing. I haven't tried an LD junk food indulgence, but there are more interesting things I'd want to do in LDs.
I had popcorn once in a dream, but it was not a LD.. Guess what.. It tasted like popcorn Lol...

In one of my LD books they have a quote from a woman who was on a diet, who said at night she ate whatever she wanted in her lucid dreams, and if she felt like having ice cream in the daytime just said to herself "just wait and have it in your dream", and that's what she did :)

I stole some barbeque shrimp from someone's plate in a restaurant during an LD. It tasted pretty realistic, not to mention good.
I summoned a meat pie once and ate it. Was very tasty :) I haven't tried stuffing myself though. It would be interesting. Unless you have a lot of control, I'd expect you would still get full. As thats what your mind would expect.
For someone who really likes food, it wouldn't be a waste at all. You could eat as much as you want without any real world effects. It doesn't cost money, you won't endanger your health from eating crap and you won't gain weight.Quote:
