Can anyone explain pre-WILD vibrations?

I have not spent much time poking around for reasonable explainations of this phenomenon. Perhaps someone has a good link or explaination to share. I was reflecting on this question however and a possible explaination dawned on me. It coud be perceived as crazy - if so ... offer your own crazy or scientifically justified theory.

In my case, pre-WILD vibrations are very predictable. I get about 20 sec of moderate strength vibrations about my head, followed by about a 5 second pause, then a second and stronger wave of vibrations lasting 5-10 seconds. When the second wave is done I usually have a floating/rotating feeling. When I hit that point I have transitioned to a dream state.

Consider the phenomenon of being velocitized. When you're in a car at 60 mph at a steady velocity, your body does not perceive that translation. When you stop suddenly, you may perceive a moving feeling for some time after. The same is true for instance in the case of the rotational movement of the earth. We're all wipping around pretty fast and we have no perception of this because there is no change in velocity.

When we transition from a waking physical state (with sensory input being processed) to a dream state, there is a brief transitionary point in time where our mind is adjusting to it's new state. We've lost major sensory input and internalizing to create our dream space.

One other phenomenon I presume we're accustomed to in a waking state is the magnetic resonance of the earth, the main harmonic of which is at 7.83 Hz (7.83 cycles per second). This is often called the Shuman resonance.

I've noticed that the vibrations I feel are in that ballpark of about 8 times per second. Perhaps in losing physical senses and transitioning to a dream state, there is a brief and predictable moment where we are sensitive to the Shuman resonance. We quickly adjust and our sensitivity subsides as our dream state stabilizes?

As I said - this is only a reasonable common sense explaination. If someone has a more scientifically justified explaination - I am quite curious to hear it.
