      Has anyone read Kubla Khan?

Its a poem by coolridge that was written in a opium inspired dream. Now im not suggesting we all take opiom (unless you are a koala) but has anyone tried writting a poem in a ld? Or better yet, has anyone tried entering a freestyle rap competition? I might try this in my ld today (I am currently in my WBTB phase)

I've heard of people doing this, and it's been one of my dream tasks. Haven't done it yet though.

yeah, I've studied that poem....however its a poem written ABOUT an opium-fueled dream. not WHILST dreaming. However...its a pretty spacy poem...and its not really about dreaming...just inspired by one.

Being a fan of Coleridge's poems, excuse me for pointing out the typo. I've studied this poem at school, it's not one of my favourites of his, but it is certainly an interesting one.

He said that in the dream, the poem was at at least 300 lines long.

An other writer, Thomas De Quince, He had brilliant dreams until he started smoking opium. His dreams got grotesque, full of dread and anxiety.
