      Your Dream Signs Here!

Just wanted to know how many people notice their dreamsigns!
Also could you post your dream signs so I can see how people's vary!?

      My Dream Sings:
      * I own things in my dream that I do not own in the waking world.
      * Food does not have flavor to me at all.
      * My dead cat is always alive in the dream world.
      * I am always a little lighter in the dreaming world.
      * The rain is not wet at all.
      * I have no reflection in the mirror.
      I think im lost!!!....

Things always reappear in odd places after I see them in the dream. Like I'll see a box next to me, and then a few seconds later it's on a shelf across the room.
I also have one that's really odd: I'm always playing with my Rubik's Cube in the real world, but it's beginning to fall apart, yet in the dream world I always have two, one that works perfectly and one that's like my real one.

I voted no, I have real trouble distinguishing dreamsigns...

When I become lucid its mostly for no apparent reason.
These are the tears that I dream about...

      My natural (came easy) dreamsigns:
      - Something attacking me, that scares me or makes me angry
      - The obvious - mirrors, clocks (doesnt work for me though)
      - Absurd uncomfortable clothing

      The ones I'm working on:
      - Clarity of my surroundings
      - Feeling of the world... I can 'FEEL' if the stuff around me exists before looking at it. hard to explain.
      - Clarity of thoughts

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

When things attack me in my dreams and I'm really scared, my vision goes all blurry, so I know I'm dreaming. (like so blurry that I can barely see the branch right in front of my face)

I dont always become lucid when I see my other dreamsigns.

Well, I've been in my backyard for my past two lucid dreams, as well a couple borderline LDs so I think it's fair to assume that it may be one of my dreamsigns.

      My most common dreamsigns:

      Light switches that don't work.
Being at "home" somewhere other than home.
      No reflection in mirror.
      Flying.
      Working at old jobs.

I'm with Aphius. The only thing that i have in common that i can connect with all my dreams is that I'm almost around people and that's really really vague and unreliable.

same with Aphius, I usually become lucid for no apparent reason. I just suddenly become lucid.

for me i think it's like this. the *slightest* thought of the word "dream" or "is this real" comes into my mind. Then that thought expands at an unbelieveable rate and i suddenly know im lucid. i dont even do reality checks in my dreams, not even to make sure if it really is a dream, I just know. I don't know how this really works though.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

I know I am dreaming by the "feel" of my dream consciousness.

I'm with Atari on this one.. my most common dreamsign is being able to breath under water. Flying is another common one for me. I have yet to train myself to look for these things, so they don't usually result in making me lucid.
