What ever happened to that charged feeling?

The first couple times I had a lucid dream, the moment I realized I was dreaming, I felt this incredible sensation. It was like energy was washing over me and building up inside me. I felt a similar feeling the first time I seriously considered the possibility that I was dreaming during my waking state.

However in my last few LDs I haven't had any such feeling. And I kind of miss it. Has anyone else gotten the same feeling when their dream becomes lucid and is there a way to make it come back?

It might not be a bad thing that it's gone.. typically, that's one of the things that wakes people from their dreams or makes them lose lucidity.

      How frequent are your LDs?

Thats not how it was at all. When it happened the dream became even more clear, and it only served to further validate the realization that I was dreaming.

I actually noticed the same thing happened this morning while I was Ld'ing. It suppose it might have been due to my hangover, but I am not really sure. I did get that super charged up feeling the previous morning during a lucid dream, and today it was gone. I have just recently started my dream journal back up and it seems to be working very well, because I have never had back to back lucid dreams before.

Hmm, I don't remember such excitement [at least, from any lucids I've had since last year to now], Mes is right, such feelings tend to wake up many LDers.

And, since I'm certain we've all felt that rush, it's just something that goes away, or you naturally supress, You could feel the rush again I suppose, by focusing on details or doing things that further confirm you're dreaming like dream control or something.

Yep. You could also recover your rush by doing something extremely awesome, like speak to someone who's passed away or fly to another planet or something!
