Well not having a LD doesn't ruin my day, but I know what you mean about waiting for the day to be over just so you can go to sleep! :paranoid:
Other times, I get excited about LDing in the beginning of the day, and then by the time night arrives... my excitement is pretty much worn off. :P
yeah it can be frustrating, especially if it's one of my only good nights of sleep for the week and I am really excited to make an LD attempt... wake up the next morning and arrrrrg!
I do get a little disappointed when I don't have an LD (after looking forward to it all day), but it just motivates me to work harder during waking time so that hopefully I can eventually experience LDs at will.
I hate that, I always try to get back to sleep after a lucid dream to have another one, but if it's too late then I just can't and it makes me sad :(
Whenevr I have a lucid dream I spend the next day half expecting to have another one the next night (even though I keep telling mysel that I probably wont) and then I don't and my expectations go down a little and a little each day until they are gone and then I usually have another lucid dream
I know EXACTLY how you feel! My LD count is still zero like yours, so not only do I have to wait all day, it's like the last 4 months have been just waiting for the right chance. :?
Take up polyphasic sleeping like I am! It's where you sleep 4 hours or less a day by taking naps throughout the day. It's actually better for you than the 8 hour a night sleep.
Also, the lucid dreams are supposedly amazing since you can WILD on nearly any nap! :D
The only downside is that everybody else in the world is monophasic, so with the extra time at night you'll need to find something to do, and you'll be interupted sometimes because you need to take a nap.
Read up on it!
Usually I can find things to keep me occupied throughout the day. At around 8:00, however, I wish my scheduled bedtime would come sooner! And then I wake up at 4:30 for my WBTB and suddenly don't feel in a dreaming mood at all. Sad, really.
