These are just the ones I care to write down. Its not like I chose to be those people, with the whole not being lucid thing, (although some are really, really, really cool, Jack Skellington, Raziel, Cloud Strife, etc.)
Even though I am rarely myself I can't get Lucid as often as one would believe with appearances such as those, however this isn't what I'm writing this for though.

I was wondering if anyone else is usually other people in their dreams?

I think its harder to become lucid when your other people, or doing weird things. I think its because you get caught up in being them so dont notice things.

I agree with you on that, Its definately harder because everything seems to sweep you away.

Well the dreams tend to switch to third person view occasionally, so then you can see who you are and sometimes people might call out to you and you answer as that person.

In first person view its easy to tell who you are for some reason. :)

-A priestess with magical beads
-some black guy with dreads
-some kind of mermaid(maybe ariel)
-Jean grey from x-men(topped with her powers :D )
-Lance or whatever his name was (also from X-men)
-Louie anderson(haha yeah the big fat white guy)
-A mom(i had a kid)

-A soldier(*I was reliving one my dream characters memory briefly*)

-I was a half-lion half-human(this was by far the coolest one)

I'm usually at least watching other characters if I'm not those characters myself. Quite often I have dreams that are like watching a movie; scenes changing, viewing multiple characters interacting, plot progression, etc. I'm not usually any specific character from books or movies or TV shows, but I know for a fact that twice (both last week) I was Spiderman.... of course that was probably from playing the game on PS2 for several hours before bed on two separate nights. Still, it was cool.

Also I find myself just plain ol' confused in my dreams. Oh well. :whyme:

It's the same with me. None of my dreams are (or rarely are) unstructured in regards to the story or sequence of events, which means that its easier to recall them when you can follow a logical path through. :)

Since I started my dream journal, I've been someone in star wars (not a jedi) and a car thief involved in a high speed police chase. I'll also like to mention the police chase was awesome....I ALMOST GOT AWAY!

just last night i was Chris Rock...god damn he's/I'm annoying.

Yeah, I have TONS of dreams where I'm not myself. In fact, there's that one dream that I posted on the site a few months ago (I'll try and look it up and link it here, but I don't know if I'll have time) where I was a jedi. I've also had a few where I was a mechwarrior. I also had one where I was playing Tactics, Ratchet and Clank, Age of Mythology, Age of Empires and FF7...there must be subliminal messaging in those games. Or I'm just gaming too much. Then again, I haven't played a gaming system for almost a month now...screwy, ain't it? Well, now that I've gotten most of the games I've had dreams about, I've also had a few dreams where I was a random person I'd met that day. Once I even had a really odd dream where I started as myself, then morphed into some girl I met. I blame Animorphs. I hate those books...curse my friends for forcing me to read that one...I've also had a few dreams where I was a professional off-roader and I was famous for my souped-up Jeep (which I have in real life...unfortunately, it's in pieces in the backyard waiting to be put together) But I wasn't me in the dream, I was some middle-aged guy with a beard. I've also had some recurring dreams in which I'm a dwarf...

The only dream that I can ever think of was where I was a different person was a very vivid dream when I was in the 5th grade after reading an animorphs book I was an eagle having a competition with a dove, like to find stuff in my backyard, I remember flying owned. :D
