Innate power to LD?
I was talking to my sister about how damn hard it is to actually concentrate and relax enough to put myself into a WILD or how incredibly hard it is to remember to RC in a dream which makes it hard for me to DILD...
She says that she is able to do it no problem. I asked her what she does and she said she listens to some fast music and moves around a little bit to get her self a little more tired then listens to slow, long, drawn-out techno or instrumental songs
She says she can treat a dream like its On Demand...pause, rewind, or resume a dream, I have difficulty doing that.
Is that like a medical condition or something that makes it easier for her to LD EVERY night? or is it just some wierd female sort of thing...I haven't met anyone else like that...

Your sister might be a natural LDer. It would be interesting if she is.
There have been several threads on naturals. From what I remember, most naturals have LDs frequently (often DILD). But a lot of them have average dream-contol skills.
I don't think females have a head-start or any other advantage over guys when it comes to LDing.

My younger brother has gotten more proficient with lucid dreaming than I have, even though it was me who introduced him into it. Apparently, he managed to have an LD whilst sleeping during a flight. He told me that he doesn't bother doing autosuggestion or wilds... he simply does a number of RCs (his favourite one is looking at his hand... most of the time, he often notices his hand is misshapen or blurred out in a dream). However, in terms of dream control, I'd say I'm ahead of him, as I've experimented more with the LDs I've had.
At the moment, I'm simply having sleeping problems, so my ability to recall any dream is non-existant at the moment, and with it, my ability to LD.

It's not a medical condition. And it's not the music or anything like that either.
Naturals or those that "have it easy" simply don't overcomplicate things. When it comes to matters of the mind such as dreaming, stress and too much thinking can be great drawbacks. If you follow your feelings of yearning and cast away your feelings of bitterness when you don't succeed at something, you'll always succeed in the end.

Thats what I thought (about the gender-difference)
She says she will tell herself right on the brink of going to sleep to dream about a certain thing(s)...she WILDs and DILDs and is able to fly, breath underwater, metamorph, jump high and all those different dream abilities...
She says when she WILDs she sleeps on her stomach and feels a whole bunch of pressure then sees lights and stuff but feels like someone is watching her...
Its weird, she can LD in daytime naps too...strange
