the most annoying ways you woke up from a lucid can be from something happening in a dream or from RL that woke you up
in my case it was RL, i was having a lucid dream and then i was having trouble keeping it going, and i woke up, and i could hear my brother banging on the tv in the other room to fix the colour up :? oh and it was around 1:00am in the morning -_-

Just randomly, but it sucks because you can feel as you wake up, it feels really weird.
My cat trying to get into my locked room by repeatedly making loud meowing noises while prying at the door and attacking the door knob. He just wouldn't shut up.

I have a few. My alarm clock is the main thing, since it goes off usually 5 days per week. Then theres construction thats going down in my basement, a full bladder, and other people.

x_X about a year ago I was a total insomniac, so I was falling asleep well after the sun rose. the only good side of it was almost all of my dreams were lucid *since I was so sleep deprived*
but I had things to do and I didn't want to sleep the whole morning so I had a habit of waking myself up from the dream - me myself alone saying "time to wake up"
sometimes only after a few minutes - since I have no concept of time while dreaming. . .
Realizing that I'm dreaming, forgetting that I need to stay calm and rub my hands together, and end up freaking out with excitement and waking myself up :roll:
Well it wasn't from a lucid but I was having a nap in the afternoon having a good dream and I woke up almost instantly (my eyes literally popped open :shock:) because the vent turned on.
It was a very light sleep I guess.
haha for me this would have to be... one morning I was LD'ing and I had chained a few LD's so I was on my third for the morning and I was experimenting with dream control... I decided that since I was dreaming I would walk through my closed bedroom door (which i'd never attempted before). So I attempt to do it and smack right into it and it actually hurts... and the whole thing makes me question if im actually asleep or awake and for a few seconds I really cannot tell! So i just decide to wake myself up to rid myself of the pain.
My cat wakes me up the most - He seems to always want cuddles at the worst times. But you can't be angry with him because he's so fuzzy and cute.
Also, I tend to wake myself up by LD'ing if I decide to try the spinning technique. I still don't know why my dream conciousness keeps trying that, I always wake up from it. grr.
It was in the morning and I woke up from my alarm and went back asleep. I was in my science class and was dreaming. I did the nose reality check and the clock one. I started rubbing my hands and everything was crystal clear exactly like real life. I was ready for a lucid adventure!
Then my mom woke me up :doh:
My last lucid I woke up from in my dream like, I guess if something turns pitch black in my dreams I wake up, I was out in my backyard (in my dream) and then my mom and dad come out and put up this huge tent, as soon as they get it up my vision goes pitch black and I wake up to a pitch black room, it was really weird. I wish you could of felt how it felt to like wake up and be in the same color contrast as you were in the dream.
But yeah I wasn't that mad because I did a lot more than I usually do in a LD.
After a WBTB 1hr later have mum wake you up and take her to work because here car broke down. :?
