      HILD method...?

I have been tying the HILD method (the hypnosis one), and after the 5th step (which is at the end of putting on weight), I was shivering like CRAZY!! This wasn't because I was scared; I think it had something to do with putting the 'imaginary' weights on.

I've never tried the HILD method but it definately sounds like you were getting results of some kind.

HILD stands for hypnosis (I think) you need someone to hypnosize you. There are no other steps than that. Do you mean that you're doing autosuggestion?

I don't think anywhere in the guide tells someone else to hypnotise you... and what's autosuggestion?

It's where you repeat over and over to your subconscious to do something. It's like self hypnosis, but you don't go under. Someone else has to hypnotize you, by definition you can't hypnotize yourself.

Yes, but the guide doesn't look like it's made for someone else to hypnotise you. Did you even read the guide yourself?

No, but I know how to hypnotize people, you can't do it to yourself.

I just read the tutorial, that's not hypnosis by any stretch of the imagination. I don't know who the hell came up with that acronym. That's a modified version of Dr. LaBerge's autosuggestion technique. You don't need to remember all of those steps, just go into a deep meditation and repeat that you will have a lucid dream next time that you are asleep.
