      I'm back with a question!

Hey, first hello again to evererybody. I've started Lucid Dreaming about 3 years ago and had small successes with DILDs but somehow I lost touch with the theme. Might be because my way to school made me get up at 6 o Clock in the morning which didn't leave me a lot of room to experiment with LDs. Anyway, I just finished school and as university starts in september I have a lot of time to sleep (thank god )!! So I'm back and this time I really want to try hard!!

      Well, now to my question:

This night I tried to WILD but I was too awake and so I decided to try to get back to sleep normally. Then my mind must have drifted away to enter a normal dream (I don't remember anything of this but I'm sure that I didn't try anything to stay conscious) but suddenly I found myself in my bed, still awake but seeing pictures and hearing sounds and I knew I was about to fall asleep. But as I realized this and so logically thought about it I woke up (and confirmed this with a RC).

Pretty excited I wanted to get back to sleep normally and the same thing happened again, just more intense and with a lot of noise on my ears but I woke up again (and confirmed this with a RC).

I think both times I was so surprised that I had no clue what to do and so I just started trying to tell myself "you are going to enter a LD" or something like this...I'm pretty sure my problem was that I just concentrated and thought too much so that I couldn't enter my dream.

Do you have any suggestions what I could do the next time this happens to me? Has anyone experienced the same thing?

      Thanks in advance!

Try to just get all your emotions under control and then just sort of let it happen. Try wiggling your toes or fingers very gently, this will give you something to keep your attention with so you dont lose concentration, but they're not physical enough to wake you up more.
      WILDs - 38
      MILD/DILDs - 44
      VILDs - 8
TILDs - 1 (Thirst Induced Lucid Dream, never going through that experience again...)
Total: 98 - So close to the big 100
