Are RCs Effective While Driving?

The subject pretty much explains it all. Every day I try to do as many RCs as I can. I usually do them anytime I come into contact with a dreamsign. However, when I'm out of my apartment long enough to see various dreamsigns, I'm usually driving somewhere. I ask if it's effective while driving because to my recollection I've never had a dream where I was driving. For example, I'll see a door of a building while driving by (one of my dreamsigns) and I'll usually do the RC of quickly glancing at the LCD clock on my car radio. Is this completely ineffective if I never have dreams about driving, or will the action still carry over if I see a door in my dream? Would it be better to only do my RCs when I'm doing something more normal for me in a dream, like walking around?

Kind of a random question, but it got me thinking today when I was driving around. :D

Yes, it sounds rather ineffective if you don't dream about what you are reality checking. But it couldn't hurt. Unless you focus too much on reality checking while driving! (The digital clock RC sounds like a safe one, though)

On the one hand, I agree you won't get the most benefit from RCing while doing something that you don't typically do in dreams. On the other hand, it's good to get in the habit of doing RCs throughout the day, regardless of what you're doing. It can't hurt, anyway.

I've recalled a handful of dreams where I was driving, but they are rare. However, I did become lucid one time while sitting in my car while it was parked in my driveway and running. So while lucid I put it in drive and proceded to drive a flying car for a little bit. It was pretty cool.

well at least you know when ever you are driving, it can easily be controlled, i try and look for dream signs when ever and where ever I can, so that way you can control anything i guess:D
