Lucid Relations

Ok, just a few minutes ago I found something out. I'll post the discussion I had with my brother over dinner.

[My mom]: "Oh Sean, I had the funniest dream last night!" (She proceeded to tell us what happened)

[My Brother]: "I like to mess up my dreams."

[Me]: "What do you mean, you like to mess up your dreams?"

[My Brother]: "I just punch people."

[Me]: "Do you know you are dreaming?"

[My Brother]: "Of course, what do think?"

[Me]: "No I mean not now, while you are dreaming."

[My Brother]: "Yeah... I'm sleeping and it just feels weird."

[Me]: "So you know you are dreaming, and you can do whatever you want?"

[My Brother]: "Yeah, why? What do you do?

I didn't answer him. I finished my dinner and came here as fast as I could to post this. I'm not a natural, and I had no idea he was a natural. Do you have any (surprise) lucid relations?

My father claims to be a natural, but he never discloses the content of his dreams. He only tells us that they're as boring as real life. He doesn't believe that dreams can be manipulated.

I just voted that I was not a natural with no natural relatives, but now that I think about it, I've never actually asked very many of my relatives what their dreams are like.

I've got a family reunion coming up soon. Time to weird out my relations. :D

My father is a natural, although he doesn't control his dreams. And yes I am one as well.

I'm basically a sleep and dreaming encyclopedia to my friends, like telling them about dreams that they can control, and explaining stuff like sleep paralysis to one of my friends who "had the crap scared out of him when he woke up" But no one in my family does afaik.

Edit: Heh, I just realized I'm the first guy to respond to this topic! (if the first post doesn't count)

I'm quite content I'm not a natural, but my brother claims he can do anything in his dreams and acknowledges they are just a dream. My mom's like me, she just dreams as they come along.

My Dad's different. When he was my age, he was just like me, but when he was 21-22 he started meditation and now he claims he can do anything in his dreams.

Most of my relations don't give half a damn for dreams or they can't recall them to begin with so I don't know if there are others in my family who lucid dream.

I'm a natural, but I don't know if I have any family members who are naturals or not.

Nop, I most oftenly don't talk to people in my dreams. Gosh, you have so normal dreams... talking with someone over dinner... EVERYNIGHT I kill something

That wasn't a dream, we are talking about relatives in waking life. :P

I got some naturals when i was young, but not anymore.
