Definitely in waking life, for the reason that you actually get the physical work out in waking life. While dreaming you can work out strategies and plays perhaps, but you need to remember its all based in your mind. |

I heard a lot about how people use LDs to practice a sport... but I never tried. So I was wondering... is it more effective to practice in an LD or in real life? Also, what's it like playing a sport in an LD? |

In LD your abilities can be better than IRL so it could be misleading. |

Have 2 LD's on my futon instead of my bed
Yes, but muscle memory, which is very important in many if not all sports, has been basically proven by Laberge himself to be possible to develope in an LD. Practicing in a LD can develop muscle memory, but sometimes (according to a friend who is proficient at LDing) it doesn't carry over into RL. |

I've trained Taekwondo forms in my lucid dreams before, I still do now and then. I did this quite often when I was new at it, and I was complimented over my skills considering how new I was. I do think it might have been a little because of all that lucid dreaming practicing. |
