Hello! I'd like to ask, how do you stay in a lucid state? I've had a lucid dream at least three times, maybe more. My first time was when I was like 8, I started to slep myself to wake myself up, I was dumb,lol. The second and third time, I was having fun, but I began to forget about my lucidity
Well first, when you become lucid, you should try and make yourself more lucid. You can do that buy verbally saying "Become lucid" or "Increase lucidity" or something along those lines. If you find the dream fading away, then you should use a stabilization method such as spinning around and focusing on your senses other than vision.
dorpis, to stay in a lucid dream, I recommend getting used to what being lucid FEELS like by grounding yourself in your dreams.
I know when I first become lucid, I have to fight that initial rush of adrenalin. I do this by telling myself to calm down, breathing naturally (or a little slower) and I try to "ground" myself in the dream (i.e., make it as lucid as it can be) instead of immediately racing to do something before I lose lucidity.
One of the tricks I use to "ground" myself is to "touch" things. By touching.. I mean really "feeling" them. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc. (this also increases the vividness of the dream along with helping me remain in it longer).
You may also try to increase your vividness by confidently stating aloud "increase lucidity" or "clarity now".
Just remember that "the deeper the level of lucidity.. the better your lucid experience should be"

Are you actually sayng it aloud,
and if you do, wouldnt hearing your own voice wake urself up?
I had a lucid dream last nightt, but i was hanging on an airplane (a tiny one)
and steering it around in a courtyard or something,
over trees, a nd under branches. it was a lot of fun.
I should have yelled "increase Lucidity"
but I didnt think of it.

Actually you'd be saying it aloud in the dream; it'd be your dream voice you'd hear, meaning you'd be receiving solid and coherent dream input and it would solidify the dream.Quote:

I suppose I'm more of a visual person. Whenever I "ground" myself I will kneel down and focus in on an object, wording or texture. There I will simply observe taking in every curve and every shimmer. Then when I look around the dream is more vivid. (I proceed to fly through a wall or some such :P).

When you first become Lucid. You should first make sure you're completely stabalized in your dream. If that happens and you still start to see the dream Fade try Spinning in circles.
