Beginning of a WILD?

Last night I was laying in bed, I do what I usually do: get into a comfortable position, and relax my body and try to slip into sleep. well, I read up on what a WILD is and I realized its what I started doing last night. I was laying there for a long time and suddenly i felt my arms go numb, and it was almost as if i didnt have arms anymore. then my legs. and when my legs started to go, I got these light flashes. in really odd shapes. and I didnt know what to do with them... and now that I know, do you think thats the start of a WILD and do you think I can make a LD out of it?????

That is the beginning of it. Pretty soon, you should start hearing sounds inside your head (but they will sound like you hearing them from your ears), and you will have very vivid imagery in your head. You will feel like your head is a balloon, and is expanding with all of your thoughts in it. Your thoughts will float around the room- and soon, you will feel a wave of numbness over your body. This numbness will feel like... Ah, how do I describe it? You know when your feet fall asleep, and it feels like needles are in them... It will feel something like that, but it won't be painful. You might start shaking and flinching, but if you stay still want to dream, the SP should become calmer and calmer until you fall into a dream. ;)

awesome!!!! thanks! i am about to go to sleep and glad i have some pointers. also, like sometimes when I start drifting to sleep I'll hear people talking and suddenly a voice will call out "Rachel!" and i cant figure out at first if its in my head or in real life but then i realize its in my head. its so vivd though! its sorta creepy, but is that a part of WILD?

Yep. Sometimes, I hear a really weird voice yell my name into my ear, and as vivid and real as it seems, I always know it's just a part of going to sleep.
