Degree of Vividness and Length of Lucids: 2 Questions...

I would like an "expert" opinion from those who LD quite frequently.

How vivid are your lucid dreams in terms of the senses and their comparison to waking life?
How long are you able to stay in this dream state?

Generally, I would like to know if the dream world can actually be a separate "world" in which one can enjoy all of the commodities of the waking world plus more.

I have had some lucids but they were so quick and sparse that in retrospect they seem unreal and much like a "dream." I would be really excited to know that this is generally not the case and that lucid dreams are very much like waking life with benefits...
