I need to start kicking myself now, I had a dream that I ended up under water, and could breathe, but took it normally. And suddenly getting my guitar out of nowhere and playing like a pro. Do I need to do more RC excercises?

Did you try playing pro guitar.. Underwater?
Because damn man that would be sick. ;)
meh, sort of, the dream was a little jumbled up for some reason...:? I wasent lucid... btw
This happens all the time with me quite a bit, I am not sure whenever or not it is due to the dream being jumbled up to much to be fully lucid or not. I would not be to worried about it though, happens to most people, in fact there is a thread about stupid ways people missed being lucid somewhere and it is huge.
Yes but for a reason and not because you find something weird in reality. Most likely you won't find anything weird in dreams. It's best if you find a dreamsign and do the check only when you see it. Or you can 'create' a lucid dream by using dream rehearsal meaning you literally create the environment of your intended lucid dream in reality...using a real place, doing the check..etc.

Though RC's can help you get lucid, I find it's the least reliable method for me to become lucid. I've never actually done one in a dream and become lucid as a result.
Look into if guitars or water are your dream signs, this would probably be more effective. If they are, try out a RC whenever you encounter either.
