Was this a WID?

So I went to sleep around 10:30 last night, woke up at 5:00 a.m., and then tried to go back to sleep. I didn't think I was conscious, but I felt sleep paralysis coming on. I tried moving my arms to shake it off, as I do not try to consciously WILD, but I couldn't. I tried a second time and, thinking I succeeded, stood up. I went out to the living room thinking I was awake, but the scene suddenly changed to my old house, and at that point I think I knew I was dreaming, but had a very low level of lucidity.

Was this a WILD? If it was, I can't believe how quick the switch was from waking to sleeping! One second I was laying in bed, the next I was "awake" in the dream.

Also, please don't get into anything mystical, as I don't believe in that stuff.

That sounds like a WILD. I've only successfully did a WILD once, but the time I did it, was probably just as fast, if not faster, than yours. Sometimes they can be very fast, other times can take up to an hour or more.
