If you are in a lucid dream, is it possible to control your body to move around, aka, sleep walking? |
No idea. |
Hmm, that's a good idea. I bet it is possible but extremely hard. |
Well, it wouldn't happen unless you somehow went into REM without entering sleep paralysis. Otherwise, it just happens randomly. Yeah, I usually dream about whatever I'm doing when I sleep walk(I used to sleepwalk as a child) |
I doubt it, that's what SP is for. I've heard that sleepwalking occurs during NREM sleep. I've only done it once, I remember going to bed and then I woke up on the floor of my living room, strange. |
Yes, I read something (maybe in EWLD?) about how your body is more or less paralyzed during REM sleep for exactly that reason. If it wasn't, you'd probably act out most things you were dreaming about, and that wouldn't always be good. Having sex and jumping from a building comes to mind. I don't want to wake up humping my stair railing or something. |
